The Sound of Sleat is proud to participate in the Newnan Robert Burns Weekend Celebration with music and song by Robert Burns, and other Scots from the traditional music of the 1700's. You'll hear lively jigs, and reels, soulful and heart-warming airs, and melodies that stay in your memory forever. We are looking forward to bringing our music to many of the events of the weekend. The Sound of Sleat is proud to perform as part of Historic Alexandria's 23rd First Night celebration! We are looking forward to performing in the North Lodge at the George Washington Masonic Memorial in Alexandria. Our unique Celtic ensemble alternates with the Truehearts with shows from 7:00 pm through the evening. The Sound of Sleat is on stage at 7:45 9:15, and 10:45 pm. Our performances will be a treat for all! We will "Send out the Old, and Ring in the New" with a most joyful experience!

The Sound of Sleat is excited to perform as part of the Swift Run Celtic House Concerts in this summer's series. Pleae bring lawn chairs, for a lovely evening under the stars. Enjoy small pipes which combine with mellow Irish songs accompanied by the soulful sound of the cello. The Sound of Sleat cools the evening with Scottish and Irish tunes and songs. Master piper Bob Mitchell, an exponent of ALL Scottish pipes, Irish singer and guitarist Patrick Egan and elegant cellist Karin Loya return for another fine concert at Swift Run.

The Sound of Sleat is delighted to perform as part of Winchester, Virginia's First Celtic Festival. We are celebrating St. Patrick's Day in historic old town Winchester! Joined by Irish stepdancers, the Sound of Sleat will play its unique arrangements and lively traditional Irish music for a most joyful experience! Pat Egan, our WAMA-winning Irishman on vocals and guitar, will sing ballads and Irish tunes that enliven the festivities and warm your hearts! Bob Mitchell on border pipes, Karin Loya on cello.
